Mission
ALS aims to establish a leading academic community that serves a standard education which motivates and prepares students for success in a dynamic global environment."" The school is dedicated to enabling students to think critically and creatively by establishing a strong foundation in academics, the humanities, spiritual education and physical education. ALS aims to meet the academic, social and emotional needs of all students, regardless of racial or religious diversity to encourage each student to achieve academic excellence, enjoy creative diversity, develop critical thinking skills and become lifelong learners and responsible citizens. To fulfill our aims we provide a safe, caring, creative and inquiring atmosphere where students can best develop the skills and character necessary to participate in their communities and the world successfully. We believe all children are creative and need to be inspired, and recognize that every child is an individual; unique in his/her own way. We emphasize the social, emotional, physical, intellectual development of each child. We will provide individualized education that addresses students' unique learning styles, cultivates independent thought, and promotes the building of character.
